Voicepage FAQ

Straight answers about Voicepage, the podcast player for iPhone and iPad.

What is Voicepage?

Voicepage is a podcast player for iPhone and iPad, with an Apple Watch app and CarPlay. You can follow a host, a guest or a subject, not just a show. There's no account, no tracking and no ads.

How does following a person work?

Search a name (a host, a guest or a subject), open their page and tap Follow. Voicepage looks for episodes whose titles, descriptions or credits name them, so what turns up depends on how shows describe their episodes. You can follow up to 3 people for free; Voicepage Pro lets you follow as many as you like.

Is Voicepage free? How much is Voicepage Pro?

Voicepage is free to download. Playing, downloads, Sort, skip buttons, intro and outro skips, chapters, Trim Silence, Clear Voice, iCloud sync between iPhone and iPad, the Apple Watch app, CarPlay, following up to 3 people and two custom stacks are free. Voicepage Pro adds on-device summaries and chapters, more custom stacks, clips, following as many people as you like and automatic transcripts. It's $3.99 a month or $29.99 a year, each with a 1-week free trial for new subscribers, or Voicepage Pro Lifetime for $99.99 once (US prices).

Does Voicepage charge for the Apple Watch app or CarPlay?

No. No subscription needed for your Watch or CarPlay. The Apple Watch app works with your iPhone: play, pause, skip, change speed and pick chapters from your wrist, with complications for what's playing. CarPlay plays from your iPhone.

Can I bring my shows from another podcast app?

Yes. Export an OPML file from your old app, then in Voicepage go to Settings ▸ Your shows ▸ Import OPML. Voicepage shows how many shows came in and why any failed. You can also add any public RSS feed by its address. Coming from Apple Podcasts? The welcome screen's “Bring your podcasts” guide shows how to build an OPML file with the Shortcuts app.

Can I take my shows to another app?

Yes, any time: Settings ▸ Your shows ▸ Export OPML saves every show you follow as an OPML file that other podcast apps can import.

Does Voicepage sync between my iPhone and iPad?

Yes, and it's free. iCloud sync keeps your shows, the people you follow, your stacks, Up Next, played episodes and your listening spot the same on an iPhone and iPad signed in to the same Apple Account. You can turn it off in Settings ▸ Sync. Per-show settings, downloads, transcripts and clips stay on each device.

Where do shows and episodes come from?

From each show's public RSS feed; shows, episodes and artwork belong to their publishers. Podcast search uses the Podcast Index catalog, and you can add any public RSS feed by its address.

Does Voicepage have ads?

No, the app has no ads of its own. Voicepage plays the creator's file as published; you can skip intros, outros and chapters yourself. Many shows offer a private feed for their supporters, and you can add its address like any RSS feed.

Do I need an account? Is my data private?

There's no account. Your library stays on your device and, with iCloud sync, in your own private iCloud. The app has no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The website (not the app) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies or tracking you across sites. See the Privacy Policy.

Is Voicepage on Android?

No. Voicepage is for iPhone and iPad (iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 or later), with an Apple Watch app (watchOS 10 or later, paired with an iPhone that has Voicepage) and CarPlay from your iPhone.

How do I restore a purchase, cancel or get help?

Restore Purchases is on the Voicepage Pro screen in Settings. Subscriptions are managed by Apple: on iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds go through reportaproblem.apple.com. For anything else, email support@voicepageapp.com or see Support.
